Voile Type Cotton

Voile is a light, plain-woven fabric that is often made of 100% cotton or a cotton blend. It has a greater thread count than typical cotton fabrics, giving it a silky soft feel. Because it is lightweight, breathable, and semi-sheer, voile fabric is ideal for summer dressmaking.. The name is derived from the French word for "veil". Made of 100% cotton or a cotton-linen blend, it lets air move through, giving comfort even on the hottest days. Voile fabric, because of its fine texture, can also be used as lining for garments.
