- Dispatch time
We dispatch Domestic Orders within 48 working hours of order placement.
International Orders may take up to 72 working hours because of double quality checks and if the courier company requires extra destination-specific documentation.
- Delivery time
Domestic orders take up to seven working days to deliver after despatch in a usual scenario. However, in North-East states and Jammu and Kashmir, it may take up to 14 working days. The customer will receive an email update once the courier is shipped.
International orders are shipped via FedEx International Priority courier service and take seven to ten days to deliver after dispatch. However, the delivery period might get extended if the customs at the destination country hold the shipment for any reason. In such a case, FedEx will directly contact the customer for further steps.
Due to the present scenario of COVID, courier companies are experiencing frequent changes in flight schedules. Hence, we suggest customers consider that there might be a delay in shipment due to factors beyond our control.
- Cancelling order
Domestic orders can be cancelled at any time before despatch by sending us an email at email@example.com. However, if the order is already shipped, we can not cancel the order. In that case, the customer will have to refuse to accept the delivery of the shipment, and then our courier partner will cancel the order.
For international order, cancellation is only possible before it is shipped. Once the order is shipped, it is impossible to cancel the order. The customer will have to accept the parcel at the destination country as we do not have any provision to return the order.
- Refund of a cancelled order
There is no case of refund for cancelled COD orders for domestic orders since the customer made no payment. However, if the customer had placed a pre-paid order, we refund 100% amount to the same account/card via NEFT used to make the payment within 7 to 10 working days of cancellation.
Suppose international order was not shipped and cancelled. In that case, we will refund the balance amount of the order after deducting the approximate currency conversion fees charged to us to process the payment and refund. However, as the customer can not cancel the shipped international order, there is no case of refund once the international order is shipped.
- Return of product
For domestic orders, in an improbable event, that customer has received a damaged product or is not happy with the purchase, the customer can return the product.
For international orders, we do not accept returns in any scenario. In an improbable condition that the customer has received a damaged product, we will refund the value for the product. However, the shipping charges will not be refunded.
To avoid any unforeseen issue for our international customer, we double-check the products before despatch and make sure it meets our quality standard. Also, some of our products with natural dye and hand processes tend to colour bleed while washing. Therefore, we request international customers to read the product details before buying fabric to avoid any issues.
- Return process for domestic order.
The customer must initiate a return request within seven days of receiving the parcel. The product must be in an unused and undamaged condition with the sticker intact and the original invoice. Under no circumstances we will accept a return request after seven days.
Products bought at discounted prices, from the Cut Piece Shop category, at Wholesale rates and discounted boutique rates are not eligible for return. Also, products in the order placed with a delivery location outside India, i.e., international order, do not qualify for a return.
To initiate a return, send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org or call us at 8141022000 and quote your order ID and return reason. Our team will get in touch within two working days and share the return details.
In case of damaged products, kindly share the image/video highlighting the damaged area. In a rare event, if you have received fabric less than the ordered meters, kindly share a video measuring the fabric.
You can courier the parcel to us as per the return details shared with you. If you want us to pick up the parcel, a token reverse shipping fee of ₹ 100 is charged and is settle from the refund amount except in case of a damaged product. It generally takes 3-4 working days for our courier partners to initiate the reverse pick up. If the PINCODE is not serviceable for reverse pick up, the customer will have to ship the product back to us.
Once we receive your returned parcel and on satisfactory inspection of the same, our team will contact you to initiate the refund process. Shipping & COD charges, if applied, will only be refunded in case of the damaged product return.
In a pre-paid order, we only refund the same account/card via NEFT used to make the payment within 7-10 working days. The customer will need to email us bank details from the same email id used while placing the COD orders. Sharing bank details is a must to receive a COD refund.
- Taxes & additional charges on international order
Custom charges, brokerage fees or any other taxes and charges applicable at the destination country are to be paid by customers directly to the courier company. In no condition, Sourceitright Private Limited will be responsible for any taxes or charges payable to the destination country.
