Sambalpuri is a word for Ikats made in western Orissa. Previously, Western Orissa was known as Sambalpur, and IKAT, a well-known textile of the region, got its name from the area. It features a curvilinear pattern and a feathery appearance with hazy boundaries. The Sambalpuri ikat is available at Sourceitright in various vibrant colors with intricate designs and motifs. It is most preferred for making blouses.
